Talkwalker pricing: what a founder can learn before the demo

What the Core, Analyze and Business plans include, what the page leaves out, and what self-serve alerting costs instead.

Talkwalker pricing is one of the harder numbers to pin down in software. The pricing page for Lumen by Talkwalker, as the product is now called, names three plans and lists what each includes, but every button leads to the same place: a form for a custom quote. For a founder deciding whether brand monitoring belongs in this quarter's budget, that is a problem. This piece sets out what the page does tell you, what it leaves out, and what the self-serve route costs instead.

What the pricing page says

Talkwalker lists three tiers.

Core is the base platform: social listening and media monitoring, topic and channel analytics, custom dashboards, reports and alerts. It also bundles the AI features: Wisdom for peak detection, forecasting and AI summaries; an AI Agent that answers questions about your data; LLM Insights, which tracks how AI assistants describe your brand; and pre-built IQ Apps dashboards. Users are unlimited.

Analyze includes everything in Core, plus twice the volume of non-sampled results and 25 more topics, filters and channels. Talkwalker marks it as the most popular plan.

Business raises volume to six times Core, triples topics, filters and channels, and adds more historical data, more AI agent questions, more workspaces and governance features.

Every plan includes professional onboarding, training, regional support and regular strategy reviews. After signing, Talkwalker's team configures your Boolean queries and dashboards.

What it does not say

No dollar figure appears, for any tier. The page does not state a contract length either. You will find third-party guesses online, including on competitor comparison pages, but none of them come from Talkwalker, so treat them as rumours until you have a quote in writing.

What you can infer is the shape of the deal. A plan that includes onboarding, strategy reviews and a team that writes your queries is priced for organisations that want a service, not just software. That is reasonable for a brand with markets in many countries. It is a lot of overhead for a company of ten.

Questions to ask on the call

If you do take the demo, these questions get you to a comparable number:

  1. What is the annual total for Core, and is monthly billing possible?
  2. How long is the minimum term, and what happens at renewal?
  3. How many topics and how much result volume does Core include, in numbers?
  4. Are LLM Insights and the AI Agent fully included, or capped?
  5. Is there an onboarding fee on top?

The founder's alternative: pay for alerts only

Most early-stage companies use a listening platform for one thing: knowing quickly when a customer, a journalist, a competitor or an investor says something that matters. That is an alerting job, and it is sold very differently.

AyeWatch is a self-serve AI monitor. Its prices are on the website:

Plan Price per month Notes
Free Preview $0 Three lifetime runs, up to 3 topics, no card
Paid plans From $9 Bought on the website, cancel any time

There are no contracts or cancellation fees, and you keep access until the end of the billing period. No demo call or custom quote is needed to see the number.

For that price, a founder gets monitors written in plain English that AI judges by meaning: "coverage of our company or our two main competitors, including funding, hires and outages". Monitors can also watch specific pages, like a rival's pricing page, and social sources from X and LinkedIn to Reddit and TikTok. Paid plans send alerts by email, Slack, Discord or webhook and include a daily digest and the REST API.

How to decide

Run the numbers on your own use. If the output your board or customers need is a sentiment report, a benchmark across markets or logo detection in sponsorship photos, ask Talkwalker for a quote; nothing at $9 a month will replace that. If the output is "someone on the team knows within the hour", the self-serve tool covers it, and you can revisit the enterprise question when you have a comms team to staff it.

AyeWatch also keeps a broader list of Talkwalker alternatives with starting prices, checked in October 2026.
